Qatar Welcomed the agreement which was signed between the Somali Government and the Alliance for the Re-Liberation of Somalia in Djibouti aimed at cessation of all forms of armed confrontations among them and the allowance of the commencement of the political settlement process.
This came in a statement by an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Qatar News Agency.
The source further expressed his hope that this agreement will contribute to ensure security for The Somali People and to ensure unhindered humanitarian access and to protect its national unity.
The source praised the efforts of the Republic of Djibouti, the United Nations, host of agreement, and The Arab League, and The African Union, which witnessed the conclusion of the agreement.
The source demanded the international community to provide support to the implementation of the agreement, and ensure the inclusiveness of the political process and the national reconciliation and not to exclude any part from the reconciliation.
