Upon directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar has decided to participate in transporting Sudanese citizens stranded in the Tunisian border from Tunis to Khartoum, and the Sudanese stranded in Alexandria, Egypt, to Khartoum. Three direct flights from Tunis to Khartoum began today and will continue for four days. This came in a statement by an official source at the Foreign Ministry to Qatar News Agency. The source added that the directives of HH the Emir is an expression of solidarity of the State of Qatar with Sudan and its brotherly people.
