The Ministry of Education and Higher Education provides support to schools of the expatriate communities in the country through extending educational guidance, medical care and exemption from water and electricity dues.
The number of the schools of the expatriate communities is at the tune of (338) schools and kindergartens, (47) of that number are Arab- communities schools, (154) non-Arab communities schools, and (37) kindergartens, not counting the kindergartens which are affiliated to the schools of the non-Arab communities. It is worth mentioning that the number of male and female students enrolling at the expatriate communities schools in the school year 2007/2008 reached 64506.

North Atlantic College:

The program of the North Atlantic College are highly flexible in order to meet a wide range of requirements. There is the one year as well as the two years programs, whereby students are given an internationally-recognized university degrees. There is also the three years program which qualifies students to obtain the College Diploma. However, the BA, MA, and PHD holders may also join the College programs which qualify them for employment at various institutions. College graduates are also availed the opportunity to pursue their higher studies at Canadian universities.


Stenden University Qatar :

CHN University was established in Qatar in 2000 as the first university which comprised an specialized faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management. The university awards the degree of BA in Business Administration within the specializations in International Hospitality Management in addition to a Diploma in Hotel Management.CHN changed it names to Stenden University Qatar.
