Academic Qualifications:
- Graduated from Qatar University (1993).
- MSc. in Construction Engineering Management, University of George Washington (USA, 1997).
Work experience:
- Joined the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture as trainee engineer in 1993.
- After obtaining the Masters Degree, he joined the Building Engineering Department at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture as Project Coordinator then Project Director.
- Head of the Planning and Follow-up Department at the Public Works Authority.
- Director of the Engineering Department at the Special Engineering Bureau.
- Director of the Special Engineering Bureau.
- Appointed Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture on 11 July 2006.
-He was appointed as Minister of Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning on 2nd of July 2008.
