- Al-Rayan Municipality, Ministry of Municipal Affairs 1988-92.
- Director of Administrative Affairs at the Emiri Diwan from 29 September 1992 until he was appointed Minister.
- Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture on 23 March 2004..
- Minister of Civil Service Affairs and Housing on 11 July 2006.
