| Comment | My father late Haji Abdul Rashid first came to Qatar in 1972 and I joined him in 1976. At the start I thought it would be a short stay of few months but then I stayed. My wife joined me in the year 1979. All my seven childrens grew up there. I left Qatar in 1995 and setteled in Australia. My wife expired on 7th October 2001. A very nice website prepared by you arosed certain sweet memories which I would never forget. Thanks

| Comment | After a very quick first look at your web site, I am most impressed at the changes that have taken place in Qatar since 1966. We lived in Doha for several months from 1966 to 1967, so unfortunately did not have long enough to get to know your fascinating country very well. At the moment, I am scanning and printing photo album pages from the old photos, maps, stamps, shop receipts and other odds and ends of interest that we collected all those years ago. I will give each of our grown children a copy so that they can see the country in which their parents once lived. I have fond memories of the fishing boats and fishermen; Sheik Nasser's most generous "picnic lunch" held out in the desert outside Doha; and the magnificent sunsets that seemed to turn the whole Doha sky a brilliant orange. Thank you for making our experience one that will never be forgotten.
