Petroleum and natural gas and their related manufacturing and integrative industries are the basis of the national economy in Qatar. The national economic policy aims at investing the revenue of petroleum and gas to lay the foundations of solid and profitable industries. Qatar government adopts new policies to liberate industry and trade to encourage foreign investors and private sector to carry out economic projects in Qatar.
