In an statement issued for journalists at the end of the meeting of the GCC foreign ministers in Jeddah, H. E. Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs confirmed that breaking the air blockade recently by Qatar is more related to the size of the Lebanese community that lives in Qatar, referring to the fact that the blockade against Lebanon is not a resolution of the international legitimacy. In a response to a question, H. E. indicated that it is necessary that Arab forces be included in the UNIFIL forces to support the Lebanese government, adding that it is essential to take concrete actions such as providing assistance in support of the Lebanese government. About the allegation that some GCC countries take unilateral actions in spite of the agreement that provides for consultation between these countries, H.
