Qatar's Ambassador to Hungary Accorded Order of Merit
Budapest/(QNA)/17 July 2012/ Hungarian President Janos Ader conferred on Tuesday on HE Qatar's outgoing ambassador to Hungary , Mubarak Bin Rashid Al Buainain the order of merit of distinctive rank in appreciation of his efforts to improve Qatari-Hungarian ties. The order is the highest accorded to foreign diplomats in Hungary. The order was presented to the ambassador by the Hungarian foreign undersecretary for international affairs, Saboltch Takatch on behalf of Ader who is abroad. A ceremony was held for this purpose at the Hungarian foreign ministry during which Takatch praised the ambassador's efforts to enhance relations between the two countries. The ambassador conveyed to the Hungarian president the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani and their wishes of further progress to Hungary. He also conveyed the greetings and best wishes of HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani to the Hungarian Prime Minister and to the Hungarian Foreign Minister. The ambassador stressed that Qatar was keen on maintaining relations of cooperation with world countries, including Hungary.
